Our story

The company Luigi Carnevali S.a.s. was established at the beginning of the 20th century and specialised in the manufacture and sale of buckles, metal accessories and embroideries, the last being particularly in high demand in the 20’s and 30’s. At that time, the firm represented the French company “Leon” whose exquisitely manufactured vermeil or silver-gilt buckles were highly esteemed and much in demand.

The fine quality of its products has always been Luigi Carnevali’s strength which has attracted the attention and interest of a high demanding clientele composed of extremely prestigious brands and fashion houses such as Bottega Veneta, Prada, Gucci, Luis Vuitton and Cristian Louboutin to name but a few.

The Company Luigi Carnevali S.a.s, has always been able to move with the times and to meet the demand of an ever-changing market by offering avant-garde products while leaving unaltered its fine and distinctive quality. The introduction of gutta-percha on the Italian market is an example of this approach: this Company’s licensed exclusive material is made from natural rubber; thanks to its outstanding breathability it is employed to reinforce leather.

Our future

In its constant pursuit of growth and amelioration, on 1st January 2017 Luigi Carnevali S.a.s. finalised a merger agreement with the associated company Resinoll, a leading company in the manufacture and trade of adhesive interlinings, thereby enhancing the Company’s competitiveness in the footwear, leather and textile clothing as well as leather goods sectors.

Combining its know-how spanning over a century together with its foresight, Luigi Carnevali S.a.s. has constantly developed new performing products with a view to providing our customers with the best solutions possible.
